What is the driving factor with the initial exchanges?
Liquidity of $WMINIMA. We are in discussions with many T2 & T1 exchanges and there will be no issue listing from a technical point of view. However when considering their liquidity requirements they look at wMinima as an initial indicator of Native Minima Liquidity.
Whilst we know that many are waiting in the sidelines to jump into $MINIMA, exchanges often take a wait and see position. Once $MINIMA is trading, we will be able to continue discussions with other exchanges.
Why did you choose the exchanges you have?
We looked at overall trading volumes, regions served & marketing support as key indicators. Importantly we have also ensured that the exchanges chosen comply with all regulatory requirements set out by the jurisdictions they serve, such as KYC/AML.
Are you targeting T2 and T1 exchanges?
Yes! We are in advanced discussions with many and it is our intention to list with T2 & T1 exchanges as soon as we meet their liquidity requirements. In short, you can consider the initial listings as only the starting gun to more listings as we move forward.
How many exchanges do you plan to list with?
At least 2 in 2024, with plans for more in 2025. We have no upper limit on the number of exchanges we will list with, although consideration will be given to markets served & ensuring overall liquidity isn’t split across too many exchanges.
Will you be listing on any DEX’s?
Not initially, however we do plan to in 2025.
Has any Native Minima been given to exchanges as part of the listing fees?
No, we have paid listing fees with stable coins only.
What measures are in place to ensure sufficient liquidity on exchanges?
We have Marketmaking support in place to ensure a healthy liquid market across all exchanges we list on.
When $MINIMA lists, what happens to $WMINIMA?
$WMINIMA will continue to trade, as it provides us with exposure to the ETH Ecosystem which can be useful to projects looking to bridge to the Minima Ecosystem.
