Hugo is an entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the marketing communication space. He has run and founded world-leading advertising agencies, creating global campaigns for companies including Vodafone, Toshiba and Sony Electronics. He was previously General Manager of marcomms at Sony Europe for its computer and audio divisions. He is an early investor in Fintech and Charity-tech.
Paddy is a true Crypto evangelist. He joined the Bitcoin community back in 2012 and has been an active contributor on the forums ever since. A full-stack coder, he conceptualised the Minima protocol over the last 5 years. Drawing extensive coding and engineering experience from multiple areas ranging from physics engines, creating crypto exchanges, and launching consumer and tech-focused apps to 10M+ users.
Chris is an operations manager with over 15 years’ experience running projects in the development sector for major INGO’s, donors and national governments. His specialism lies in the application and integration of Complex Adaptive Systems theory into conventional operational approaches to create more sustainable and resilient systems that allow organisations to operate more effectively and to evolve more efficiently.
After an early career in Financial Markets Peter spent the last 7 years immersed within blockchain as a trader, evangelist, educator, researcher and connector in the space. Peter’s main strengths lie within his ability to explain tough subjects to novice audiences, to ideate novel token-based incentive mechanisms as well as his links to many experts, investors and influencers in the blockchain space.
Ryan has been actively involved in the cryptocurrency community since 2016. Whilst working for Amazon he created a website dedicated to the fundamental analysis of cryptocurrency projects – helping individuals research blockchain assets to inform successful investing. This caught the attention of a Cambridge based decentralised cryptocurrency exchange, where he worked as Head of Content and Business Development Executive.
Martin brings over two decades of global experience in commercial and corporate law. He is a member of the Crypto Valley Association and co-founder of Digital Asset Legal Advisors LLC in Zug, Switzerland where he runs his own law firm. Previous to this he has had partnerships in a number of major Swiss law firms as well being a Legal Advisor in Silicon Valley. He holds board / legal advisor positions in a range of sectors including tech, entertainment, and real estate.
Julie is a fellow of the ACCA with over 20 years post qualification experience. Julie started her career working for big agencies before switching her focuses to advising the boards of start-ups/SMEs across many sectors including legal, marketing, SAAS and tech. Julie also founded and run a multi-channel fragrance business that supplied over one thousand Boots stores.
For the last 18 years, Peter has worked as an integrated, conceptual designer within the advertising and fashion industries. During this time, he has gained a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of companies and agencies, serving some of the world's largest brands, such as HTC, Virgin, Nike, McDonalds and Sky. Peter thrives on solving strategic, commercial and creative challenges, right through to design implementation.
Kerry has over 20 years’ experience in every aspect of the financial process, working across sectors ranging from marketing, tech, disaster recovery & brand experience. Outside of work, Kerry is a well-seasoned marathon runner.
Mike is a technologist and engineer with over 30 years’ experience in designing and delivering innovative IT and telecoms systems. He has a deep understanding of the industry and underlying technology, coupled with proven real-world experience of working with telecoms operators worldwide. As Director of Technology at Vannin Ventures he worked with and advised start-ups, incubators, and corporates – and as CEO at Partitionware he was responsible for the successful delivery of numerous innovative, large-scale telecoms systems. In other roles, he continues to support and advise blue-chip commercial enterprises and government agencies in respect of technology and commercial strategy.
Brendan is a renowned technology and Business Leader in Digital Communications and High TechIndustry, with a highly successful track record in Digital Innovation of over 30 years. Highly regarded for delivering business value through innovation in technology and product, Brendan has held C-Level roles at BT Openworld, Freedom4 and Telefonica.
From Blockchain to IoT to Cloud, David is digital transformation. Technically-fluent and commercially-minded, he’s been working in tech for some 20 years. Right now, David’s delivering large-scale digital transformation projects for Worldline, one of Europe’s largest payment companies, with very close links to Atos, a global leader in service integration. Everything David does, everything he’s done, comes back to this: helping businesses transform to make the most of tomorrow’s opportunities.
Bart brings a wealth of knowledge in commercialising cutting edge technology, with a decade of experience as both a software engineer and guiding large organisations as an executive. Currently CTO at Mercuria Energy Trading, Bart was also previously Executive Director of Commodities Technology at Morgan Stanley. Under his guidance, Mercuria has established itself as one of the largest Energy Trading companies in the world, with the strongest technical footing among its peers.
Andy is a multi-award-winning retail Leader and board-Level advisor with extensive UK & International experience driving market share, sales and profit growth across multichannel retailers. He is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Arcadia Group, where he is responsible for the overarching group digital strategy, which includes 7 fashion brands: Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Wallis, Evans and Miss Selfridge. Immediately prior to that, he was the CEO or Alamy Ltd, the stock image specialists, with responsibility for the transformation of people strategy, customer experience, operations and financial performance.
Adam has a deep practical knowledge of science and technology. He is a Professor in Applied Nanotechnology and has spent over a decade in the biotech industry, commercializing research to products. He has led multinational projects for a range of industries including medtech, food, healthcare and pharma. He is an advisor to several SMEs in nanotech and a regular speaker at nanotech and digitech forums.
Richie has a passion for innovation, digital transformation, growing startups and sustainable tech.
Solving tomorrow's challenges through data-driven strategic and creative processes. Blockchain has been of particular interest to Richie over the past three years with him consulting and advising several multinationals on the opportunities and use cases. He has successfully co-founded and scaled tech agencies and a fin-tech startup, as well as secured millions in investment.
Barry has three decades experience in financial markets. With a prolific market presence for CIBC, Rabobank, and then branching out on his own, founding and successfully running a futures trading floor. An innovator and problem solver, Barry has worked both creating and designing exchanges. As a crypto early adopter, he truly understands the significance of blockchain as the future of global finance and commerce.
